A new favourite activity emerged a few months ago after visiting Cafe Doppio with Miss Mimi and drinking tea and eating cake. While I got to reading gossip mags, Miss Mimi got to pouring water from our glasses into my empty teapot, back into my empty milk jug and in an out of other cups. On and on this went with Mimi making me all sorts of different tasting teas and coffees and soups. From now on if I need time to get some work done and keep Mimi calm and out of trouble, out comes the teapot and cups and she practises her pouring techniques.
We often set this activity up at Gran’s, outside on the deck with a lot more water and scoops and funnels, but it’s equally as fun inside at a table.
